Tessa Thompson

The actor Tessa Lynn Thompson was born on the 3rd of October 1983 in Los Angeles, California. Thompson is the daughter of musician and singer Marc Anthony Thompson and the daughter of the actor and musician Bobby Ramos. She grew up in Los Angeles, before she moved to Brooklyn. Her mother comes from Mexican as well as British Isles roots, while her father is African-Panamanian. Thompson was part of numerous productions at Santa Monica High School. Following graduation, she was enrolled in Santa Monica College, where she obtained a certificate in the field of cultural Anthropology. For her role as Juliet the character in Shakespeare's play "Romeo and Juliet" at the Pasadena California production at The Boston Court Theatre.
