Anna Silk

Anna Silk was born in January 1974. The most famous role she has played is Bo in the Showcase's Lost Girl television series. Silk is a Canadian actress who was born in Fredericton New Brunswick. Ilkay Silk and Peter Silk have been the grandparents of Silk. Ilkay is a playwright as well as director, and she is a drama teacher in St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna has some of her earliest memories of watching and attending play rehearsals. Silk appeared as a little girl in commercials. She earned her Bachelor of Arts was awarded from St. Thomas University, 1997. Theatre St. Thomas staged two plays in the early years: Seven Menus & The Kitchen. Silk relocated to Toronto to pursue her acting career in order to advance, then after that, she relocated to Los Angeles California. Seth Cooperman was her future spouse when she first met him in 2007 in an actor's workshop at the Actors' Workshop in Los Angeles. In December 2009 they married in a civil wedding ceremony. On April 10 2011 they renewed their vows at the Jewish ceremony in Fredericton after she converted to Judaism. Silk Cooperman was born May 2013, a son called Samuel Jerome Cooperman. The second son of hers, Levi Aaron was born on the 13th of May in 2016. Silk is well-known for her television role in the role of Cassidy Holland, in Being Erica. In 2009 she was awarded a nomination by the Gemini Awards. The Canadian series Lost Girl cast her as Bo Dennis, the lead character of a succubus. Silk became pregnant during production of the final season episode and broke the news to viewers of the show during an episode of the Showcase show's pre-show Season Three special on January 6th, 2013. Silk, who has been involved in the production of Lost Girl since the final season episode premiered on the 6th of January, 2013 on Twitter, announced that she would return to the show on June 4, 2013 when Showcase and Prodigy Pictures began production on fourth season. The character she played Bo along with Lauren (Zoie Palmer) as same-sex lovers on Lost Girl was named one of the most popular TV Couples by CNN (Cable News Network) as well as named the top Television Couple in 2013 by E! Entertainment Television. Due to the popularity of the show, Silk has earned a significant online following on social media.
